Birth Doula
Support

Our birth doula services include a no-obligation consultation visit, 1 prenatal visit, birth support, and 2 postpartum check-ins. It also includes email, text/phone support, breastfeeding support and a back-up doula.

MEET THE DOULA CONSULTATION VISIT

This visit is a free, no-obligation visit for anyone interested in learning more about my services. This visit is an opportunity to meet the doula and ask any questions you may have about the service I offer. If you feel that I am not a good match for you, I can help you find another doula. My priority is for you to feel great about your doula in order to have the best experience as possible.

PRENATAL VISITS
 

Your birth doula package includes one prenatal visit before your baby arrives. This is an opportunity to discuss your birth preferences, prepare for labour, ask questions, and talk through anything that may be on your mind. The visit typically lasts 2–2.5 hours, depending on your needs and the questions you have.

BIRTH SUPPORT

I will be on call for you 24/7 from 38–42 weeks of pregnancy, providing continuous support throughout your labour and birth, regardless of how long your labour lasts. I will remain with you for about 2 hours after your baby is born and, if you plan to breastfeed, provide initial breastfeeding support after birth.

POSTPARTUM SUPPORT
 

Your doula package includes two postpartum check-ins: one typically scheduled for the day after birth and another within the first six weeks. Visits may take place in person or virtually, depending on your needs and preferences. These visits provide an opportunity to check in, support your transition into parenthood, and talk through your recovery, newborn care, feeding, and any questions or concerns that come up. If additional support is needed following a particularly challenging birth or unexpected circumstances, additional visits may be provided at no extra charge. Each postpartum visit is approximately 1–1.5 hours.

BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT
 

Feeding your baby is an important part of the early postpartum experience. As a birth doula, I provide basic breastfeeding support immediately after birth, including encouragement, positioning, and helping you get comfortable with your baby at the breast. For families who need more comprehensive breastfeeding support, I also offer professional lactation services through Bloom Birth and Lactation Support.

PHONE AND EMAIL SUPPORT
 

You are welcome to reach out by text, phone, or email throughout your pregnancy, labour, and postpartum period with questions or concerns. I’m here to provide guidance, reassurance, and help you navigate your options as they arise.

BACK-UP DOULA

I will be on call for you 24/7 between 38-42 gestational. This means that I will be no further than 2 hours away during that time and available to support you. However sometimes babies come early, and unforeseen circumstances can arise for your doula (family emergencies, illness, etc.). In such situations a back-up doula will be available to attend your birth, as needed, and provide you with care and support during your labour.
